Speedometer for
mine electric locomotives CP is intended for definition of
speed of movement of mine accumulator electric locomotives
in mines, which are dangerous because of gas and dust, and
also for contact electric locomotives K-10, K-14.
Speedometer takes measurements of the electric locomotive
and its travel by indirect method, which consists in direct
measurement of rotational frequency of traction engine with
its calculation into the value of movement speed and passed
number of kilometers. Speed and travel are measured independently
from driving direction of the electric locomotive.

Sensor is installed in the lid (cover) of the reduction gear,
and the observance block (block of indication) in the cabin of electric
locomotive is installed in the place convenient for observance.
Permissibility of speedometer is provided
by a kind of implosion protection “explosion-proof casing” according
to ÃÎÑÒ 22782.6-81 and is reached by placement of electrical parts
into the casing, which can stand the pressure of explosion inside
it and exclude the transition of explosion into highly explosive
environment.
Resources, life times, storage and
guarantees of manufacturer.
• Error-free running time (average) 1000 h. during lifetime of
five years including storage time of one year.
• The specified lifetime and storage time are valid during observance
by the consumer of the requirements of the acting exploitation documentation.
• Guarantee lifetime is 12 months from the date of putting into
operation.
