CONSTANT-VOLTAGE UNIT IP-5

IP-5 is intended
for electrical supply of lighting circuits and auxiliary equipment
of mine contact electrical locomotives and converts constant
voltage of 250 V into stabilized constant voltage of 24 V
with load current up to 15 A.

Output IP-5 is protected from short circuit from
the part of load. Coefficient of efficiency with nominal values
of input voltage and load current ИП not less than 80%. Pulsations
of output voltage on feeble-current outputs not more than 1%.
Electric insulation strength guarantees the absence of disruption
and surface covering of insulation during constant test voltage
of 2100 V in normal conditions of operation and 1500 V in conditions
of increased humidity during check-up between input and body, input
and output IP-5.
IP-5 must operate in the conditions of free air convection.
Working position is vertical (downwards with cable inputs), deviations
up to 5 grades from the working position to any side are assumed.
Protection level is 1P54 according to GOST14254-96. Temperature
of outside surfaces IP-5 during operation with nominal load does
not exceed 50 0C. Average error-free running time is not less than
1000 h with the temperature of 25 0C. Average lifetime taking into
account conduction of recovery work is not less than 10 years.
